The roads to the truth to avoid misleading:
1. ASK...
-asking isn't bad at all. Actually it simply shows that you are interested to know more. Remember that the more we seek for answer the more we know what is right and not. This can be implied not just for God but also to those people who shared new ideas to us. Ask them, the source, to whom they are saving and of course, ask God is this His really will?
Advice: Be with people who has greater understanding on who God really is.
2. DO IT!!!
-if the didn't give you a satisfying answers then make your own study, seek on your own. It is better to know the truth with your own search than to hear it from other people. God also wanted us to seek him individually. Remember that God saved us indiviually and not corporately.

Advice: You can read the bible on your own, ask God to open your spiritual eyes and ears so you may know the truth.
3.IDENTIFYING/ INTERPRETING...
-Not all knowledge is good, we must identify it first where it came from, is it from the Lord or not. Be aware that this world has the power to lead us out of the truth. So not all knowledge are applicable to our Godly living. Instead, we must look for God wisdom because it is far better to all knowledge that this world has.

Advice: Beware on knowledge they are presenting to you, you must be very careful, because not all knowledges are good for us, same goes to Adan and Eve, they gained knowledge but it led them to be part away from God.
